R Todd and Co

R Todd & Co are our newest Member, joining in 2020. Robert and Eleanor Todd moved their family and pedigree cattle from Northern Ireland to Leven in Fife when they purchased Blacketyside Farm in 1992.

There were 4 hectares of strawberry and raspberry fields already there, which they continued to farm. Today the cattle are long gone and the business has evolved to over 40 hectares of highly productive soft fruit grown and packed on site. The main crops are still strawberries and raspberries, with smaller volumes of blackberries, blueberries and cherries. Andrew Todd heads up the fruit production and has introduced heated tunnels giving a season from early April to November.
